How to Become Rich Through Budgeting Wisely

Everyone wants to be rich. But most people don't know how to do it. And nearly everyone thinks that being rich is impossible for them.

But do you know that anyone can become a millionaire? The only reason they don't do it is because they don't know how.

The easiest way to become a millionaire is to save 10% of your income right from when you begin working when you leave school or university.

It really is that simple. Then through compound interest and high-earning bank accounts, your savings will keep increasing and by the time you're 40 or 50 years old, you'll be a millionaire.

But what if it's too late for you and you've already been working for 20 years and saved nothing?

Well it's NEVER too late.

Through wise budgeting and simple savings you can still be rich.

The first thing you have to do (and today is the best time to start doing it) is to open a savings account and start putting away 10% of all your income. That means 10% of absolutely everything. Even if you win $100 on the lottery or $10 in a local raffle, you have to put 10% of it into your savings account. And save this money first before you pay your bills. It doesn't matter how much it hurts. You MUST save 10% of your income – any income – even if it means cutting back on other things like having to buy cheaper brands of food at the supermarket and going to bed earlier to save on heating. Just make sure you save 10% of your money before you do anything else.

Then look at your debts and see how you can pay them off quickly.

You can start by not spending any money unless it's absolutely necessary.

Write out a budget and stick to it. For instance, say you budget to fill up your car every week with $50 of fuel. Then no matter how much the price of fuel goes up, you still put in $50 and drive less if you have to.

Also take a look at your grocery bill. Make a strict budget for food for each person.

For example, say you set a budget of $2 per person per meal. Now that may not sound much but with 3 meals per day that's $6 a day, times 30 days a month, that's $180 a month!

Now if you have a family of four, this means you'll be spending $720 a month on food! And if you add to that cleaning and hygiene products, you'll be looking at a whopping $800 a month just for your supermarket bill.

But at least when you know how much you're allowed to spend per meal, it makes shopping a lot easier.

And being aware of your budget and spending limitations makes it much easier to see where you're overspending and so it makes it easier to stop.

So begin today. Start saving 10% of all your income and make out a strict budget and stick to it.

And as soon as you begin, you're on your way to becoming rich.
